Third, he backed to his father's house searching some information. He found the Bible. He read it. There was a car key dropped from the Bible. Teaching Speaking _Summary

Teaching Speaking

Summary

Teaching adult learners speaking is associated with their personalities. Risk-takers will be talkative but will make errors often. On the other hand, shy students may take long time to speak but their English contains fewer mistakes. Speaking lessons usually combine with pronunciation and grammar. It is necessary for effective oral communication. A grammar or reading lessons may incorporate speaking activities. Activities may include imitation, answering verbal cues, interactive conversation or an oral presentation. Moreover, information gaps are also used for speaking practice, as are surveys, discussions, and role play.

Writing Material

Teaching Speaking
Speaking English is the main goal of many adult learners. Their personalities play a large role in determining how quickly and how correctly they will accomplish this goal. Those who are risk-takers unafraid of making mistakes will generally be more talkative, but with many errors that could become hard-to-break habits. Conservative, shy students may take a long time to speak confidently, but when they do, their English often contains fewer errors and they will be proud of their English ability. It's a matter of quantity vs. quality, and neither approach is wrong. However, if the aim of speaking is communication and that does not require perfect English, then it makes sense to encourage quantity in your classroom. Break the silence and get students communicating with whatever English they can use, correct or not, and selectively address errors that block communication.

Speaking lessons often tie in pronunciation and grammar (discussed elsewhere in this guide), which are necessary for effective oral communication. Or a grammar or reading lesson may incorporate a speaking activity. Either way, your students will need some preparation before the speaking task. This includes introducing the topic and providing a model of the speech they are to produce. A model may not apply to discussion-type activities, in which case students will need clear and specific instructions about the task to be accomplished. Then the students will practice with the actual speaking activity.

These activities may include imitating (repeating), answering verbal cues, interactive conversation, or an oral presentation. Most speaking activities inherently practice listening skills as well, such as when one student is given a simple drawing and sits behind another student, facing away. The first must give instructions to the second to reproduce the drawing. The second student asks questions to clarify unclear instructions, and neither can look at each other's page during the activity. Information gaps are also commonly used for speaking practice, as are surveys, discussions, and role-plays. Speaking activities abound; see the Activities and Further Resources sections of this guide for ideas.

Laugh around you:Just like Heaven Final

Laugh around You:Just like Heaven

What do you think about comedy? According to a dictionary, comedy means branch of drama that deals with everyday life and humorous events. When people watch comedy films or TV programs, they easily fall into the situation. They follow the plot and then show their emotion out, such as laugh, cry, or scream. Most people can't resist the attraction of comedies, either can I. A delightful romantic comedy is my favorite. I would like to introduce a love, funny movie to you. It is Just like Heaven.

This movie told about Elizabeth, acted by Reese Whitherspoon, who had a serious car accident. Then her spirit came out from her body. When she came back to her apartment, she felt something strange and changing. David acted by Mark Ruffalo had already lived in her apartment. After David rented Elizabeth apartment accidentally, the last thing he wanted was a mate. Then she showed up, insisting the apartment was hers. David felt ridiculous and couldn't believe why a guset came to his apartment without walking through the door. He was convinced she was a spirit. She was convinced she was still alive. But while Elizabeth had discovered she had a distinctly ethereal quality-she could walk through walls-she had totally convinced. She was not a human. As Elizabeth and David searched for who Elizabeth was and how she came to be in her present state, their relationship has been deepend into love. Unfortunately, they had little time before their prospects for a future together permanently faded away.

In conclusion, the film is very humorous, interesting and touching although the story is not so realistic. However, it brings me into the situation that I have not had before and it also inspires me to have another ideas about love. Therefore, I think love is not only a medium that connects with people from the world but also a liaison between human and ghosts.
