My Winter Vacation

How a nice winter vacation that I have taken this time. I would tell you what I do, where I go and my Chinese New year during this vacation.

I would talk about what I do first. Every time in my winter vacation, I got so much work to do because in this period my family members were busy with the harvest. Furthermore, it was the happiest time in my family. Helping to package fruit in boxes was my job. I usually packaged over seventy boxes a day but I didn’t feel tired or bored. Because my relatives came to my house and helped me, we all enjoyed working together.

This vacation I went to two places, Taipei and Kenting. I went to Taipei for shopping in four days. I took High Speed Trail to Taipei. It was my first time to take the train since it was used. I felt comfortable and great after I took. But this kind of train had a shortcoming. It killed birds. I remember I got off the train. I saw the head of train had some strange blood with bird feathers. However, it was a sad thing and I didn’t want to mention it anymore. I also took a trip to Kenting with my sisters. We all love the ocean and sunshine there.

On Chinese New Year eve, my mother prepared delicious cuisines for us. It was the most exciting day to me because after dinner I could get red envelops from my parents. There was a tradition in my family. All children needed to play Majan with adults. If children won the game, they could get extra red envelopes. On the other hand, if children lost the game, they would lose their red envelopes, either. It was a one way to get rich for children.

This winter vacation I had a wonderful time with my family. Even I need to work on my vacation; I will be happy and willing to do.
