Topic: Teachers
I. Introduction
Teachers can be divided into three groups.
Principle of classification; Duties of teachers
A. transmitting traditions
B. instructing knowledge
C. solving problems
II. Body
A. transmitting traditions:
These teachers may have old-fashion concepts.
Their jobs are to teach what is right or wrong, especial for behaviors, family morals.
B. instructing knowledge:
These teachers only pay much attention on teaching. Giving good textbooks, clear lessons. Students do as follow as him/her can get good grades but these kinds of classes must be boring and easy fall asleep. It is common in some specific classes, such as history, grammar. A teacher not only instructs knowledge but also finds out what is the efficient, useful, and interesting ways for students learning.
C. solving problems
These teachers and students are good friends. They always play important roles in students’ minds. When students have any problems, they are willing to tell these teachers anything about their problems. The relation between students and teachers C is the closest of the three. Usually, students can still stay in touch with them after graduation.
III. Conclusion
I think in our life different periods we need different teachers. When we are young, we need teachers transmit traditions. It can make children have correct concepts and abilities to distinguish what is right or wrong. When we started our school lives, it was the time for teachers instruct knowledge. In my mind, I prefer teachers are willing to solve problems. It is the most important duty for teachers but it is the most difficult.
